Meet Christie Huidekoper

Christie is a Vail-based real estate advisor who believes buying or selling a home should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Since 2022, she's been a key part of the Chadd Ziegler Team at Christiania Realty, participating in over $200M in transactions and bringing calm, clarity, and momentum to every deal. She keeps everything organized, on track, and thoughtfully executed, from early strategy through closing, with a special focus on listing preparation and marketing that helps each home stand out.

Christie works with both local buyers and second homeowners and has a natural instinct for matching people with the right home. Growing up in Connecticut gave her a lasting appreciation for homes with warmth and character, the kind with natural wood, stone, and a fireplace to gather around, and she cares just as much about how a home feels as how it functions. Whether it's a place to raise a family, gather for the holidays, or settle in and soak up the quiet of the mountains, she's passionate about helping others experience the Vail lifestyle and community she loves.

That love of home extends beyond the transaction. Christie and her husband own and operate three rental properties of their own, so she knows firsthand what it takes to make a home shine for guests and perform well as an investment. She also offers interior design consultations for clients looking to refresh a room, pull a space together, or make a home feel more their own. From sourcing furniture and finishes to layout and styling, she takes a thoughtful, practical approach, working with what clients already have when it makes sense and identifying the pieces that will make the biggest impact. With experience across development projects, individual home sales, listing preparation, interiors, and rentals, she brings a well-rounded perspective on home, from finding it to making it yours.

Christie lives in Vail with her husband and their ragdoll cat, Moo. She spends her time skiing, golfing, thrifting, playing pickleball, and soaking up every sunny day on the deck, ideally with a warm drink in hand. Outside of real estate, she volunteers with the Eagle Valley Humane Society, because finding the right home should apply to everyone!
